The most common cause of 'brain haemorrhage" in common terms is bleeding within the brain due to sudden spike in blood pressure. This type of bleeding can cause paralysis on the opposite side of the bleed . The size and site of the bleed determine the outcome. Sometimes a very large bleed needs surgery as a life saving measure.
